The Angel and Devil's power extends to influencing actors' character actions. The Angel uses his power to keep the film on course as a "teen comedy" while the Devil steers the same into a "melee of chaos".

The story of the film is set at the beginning of the bombardment, in March 1999, in a small town somewhere in Central Serbia.
